During my recent journey to Bergamo, I had the pleasure of staying at Antica Dimora B&B, a charming historic residence housed within a stunning 16th-century Palazzo. The blend of Italian heritage and modern conveniences truly made this a unique experience for me and my travel companions. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of our host, Matteo, was evident. He provided excellent communication and made us feel welcome right from the start, even offering us a complimentary welcome drink which set a delightful tone for our stay. The location of the B&B is stellar, nestled between the old and new cities, and ideal for easy exploration of Bergamo's rich history. The room itself was a spacious retreat, complete with premium bedding and a lovely view overlooking the picturesque street below. We particularly appreciated the rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries in the modern bathroom, offering a luxurious touch amidst the charming period furnishings. Each morning, we indulged in a complimentary buffet breakfast served in an elegant setting, featuring a delightful variety of local pastries and cold cuts, perfect fuel for our explorations. Being close to both the train station and the cable car that connects to Città Alta, it made our excursions effortless. I wholeheartedly recommend Antica Dimora B&B for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Bergamo's history while enjoying modern comforts; this spot is an eco-conscious traveler's dream and a wonderful base for marine biologists and explorers alike!
